After obtaining a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Sydney University, I practised on the Upper North Shore before establishing the North Shore Dental Practice in Gordon 30 years ago. My experience over this time led to a desire to find better ways to help my patients.

This has led me to post-graduate courses, seminars and a close relationship with the dental industry to discover this better way.

I feel my patients can now benefit from what modern dentistry can offer. 

Dr Augustine Kim

Graduating with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Sydney in 2004, I commenced private practice in the Northern Suburbs of Sydney.

Before joining Dr Victor Parker, I was the principal dentist at Royal North Shore Hospital and a Senior Dental Officer with NSW Health for over ten years. I provided dental treatment under general anaesthesia and sedation, especially for patients requiring oral surgery and paediatric or special needs dentistry.

In 2018, I was admitted as a Member of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons (RACDS) and am currently a Mentor for the college. 

Other academic interests include:

• Conscious sedation and relative analgesia training for dentists at Westmead Hospital
• involvement with teaching dental students at the University of Sydney
• Teaching anatomy at the University of Sydney, having been awarded the Prosector's Prize in the field
• Member of the Australian Dental Association

I believe engaging with leading professional organisations and training providers helps me provide better clinical outcomes for my patients.
